Providing verifiable, reliable, real time
record of water quality . . .
SmartSensor™ offers the following features:
Measures and displays pH, temperature and ORP levels in real-time
Requires no test chemicals, color charts, or water sampling – Ever
Requires no calibration. The unit automatically re-calibrates itself once either the battery or the electrode is replaced – typically after 12 – 18 months of use
Incorporates an easy to remove sensor probe and two AA batteries – no other maintenance is required
Backlit LCD display
SmartSensor™ works independently and automatically.
SmartSensor™ contains internal memory to store recorded values
SmartSensor™ provides a Windows® based software package to download, and view the time stamped recorded values
SmartSensor™ is housed within a water and weatherproof IP-674 standard enclosure
SmartSensor™ comes with a cap to protect the probes from damage during storage or transpor
SmartSensor™ provides a variable, reliable, real-time record of water quality parameters:
ORP measurements are mandated for portable and recreational (pool) water in many countries
pH measurement provides indication of safe, chemically neutral water for drinking, bathing and cooking
No intervention needed to measure and monitor the water chemistry
Verifiable World Health Organization recommended ORP levels are measured and electronically logged
Why use SmartSensor™?
Test kits require care and experience to use properly
Test kits are useless at night
Test kits are easily contaminated resulting in inaccurate results
Test kit results are influenced by other unidentified waterborne contaminants
Test kits are only a snapshot
Test kits do not provide a logged and verifiable electronic record
Untrained personnel often deploy and operate water treatment systems
SmartSensor™ Enhances Safety
SmartSensor™ takes the guesswork out of the equation, gives precise digital readings.
SmartSensor™ requires no training to operate. Simple graphics are used to guide the operator, eliminates language difficulties
SmartSensor™ works without attendance.
SmartSensor™ maintains a log of pH, sanitization and temperature which can be downloaded to any local computer using it’s own software.
SmartSensor™ displays changes in water quality to guard against contamination or unsafe water.
SmartSensor warns of Re-contamination for Remote Water Treatment Applications
If the source water is especially high in contaminants, SmartSensor™ will provide ongoing real-time ORP information to warn operators of low ORP and possible re-contamination.
pH is a good indicator of source water quality. Extremes of pH are a warning that strong contaminants may be present (soluble metals, hydrides, acids, poisons).
SmartSensor™ APPLICATIONS
Hotels & Resorts:
Verify the quality of water in pools and spas on the hotel property in order to ensure the highest quality of customer service. Minimize the potential for litigation against the hotel property.
Mitigate against employee risk associated with maintaining pools and spas at the correct chemistry.
Pools, Spa’s, and Jaccuzi’s:
Maintain a household pool or spa with minimal effort. Ensure that the water in your pool, spa, or Jacuzzi is safe for your family.
Agriculture Industry:
Verify that source water is not contaminated with biological contaminants.
Verify treatment of water has been conducted properly by personnel
Verify that washing water is not contaminated with biological contaminants
Remote Industry:
Verify the quality of water in remote locations with poor local infrastructure.
Emergency response:
Verify the quality of water in disaster response or relief efforts.
Waste Water Treatment:
Verify that waste water has been effectively treated to remove biological contaminants.
