SmartSensor™ is a self contained, microprocessor based, battery powered, multi-functional water quality indicator. It has been developed by Weir-Jones Engineering Limited, a member of the Weir-Jones Group of Companies (www.weir-jones.com)  which  have more than 35 years experience in monitoring and analyzing environmental and engineering data. The SmartSensor™ is manufactured by Terrascience Systems Ltd. in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance and quality control standards. The SmartSensor™ uses a proprietary array of digital military grade sensors to measure, compute, log, and display the pH, ORP, and temperature levels of a water sample in real-time. International patents have been applied for and are pending.

SmartSensor™ provides a variable, reliable, real-time
record of water quality parameters:

• ORP measurements are an international standard for both portable and recreational pool water
• pH measurement provides indication of safe, chemically neutral water for drinking, bathing and cooking
• No human intervention needed to measure and monitor the water chemistry
• World Health Organization, WHO, recommends ORP as a measure of checking water quality
• Verifiable time stamped readings are taken, stored and can be downloaded on demand
